Finally, on his 6th year of fencing involvement and 5 international competitions Amir Faiz Amirul won his first international gold medal as part of the Urban Juggernaut(UJ) - Malaysia team. The gold medal was achieved in the U15 Boys Sabre, team competition held in Bukit Kiara Sports Complex, Kuala Lumpur.
The UJ team consists of Ahmad Shazani, Zul Aidan and Amir Faiz Amirul. Ranked 1st after the individual competition on Saturday, the UJ team defeated their rivals 45 - 37 in the finals.
